Limited Edition. From the Azur Collection. The renowned artist, Bertil Vallien, has always been a symbolist and storyteller of glass which is evident in his collection for Kosta Boda. Azur Stairs is an exclusive art object in blue glass, cast in a charcoal mold, with an imprint of a face above a staircase. Both motifs are recurring in Vallien's work, often as details in his magnificent boats of glass. The object is handmade at Kosta Glassworks in Sweden, in a limited edition of 1000 pieces.
